WHO/PHE Health and Justice/EMCDDA Conference

The next WHO Europe Health in Prisons meeting, organised with PHE, is set to draw people from across the globe to discuss current challenges and share good practice on drugs and drug-related harms in prison at the offices of the European Monitoring of Drugs and Drug Addiction in Lisbon, Portugal on the 11th and 12th of December. The meeting will consider the issue of drugs and associated health risks through the optic of the importance of data, intelligence and evidence to inform practice and policy. The meetings have a history of showcasing innovative practice which has subsequently been adopted in other jurisdictions as well as attracting researchers to share their insights in this field.
